M2 Motorway Services

At 26 miles long the M2 would make a nice marathon course.  It may feel like a short piece of tarmac however with 29 other motorways coming in shorter it sits mid table. Not all motorways can be leviathans like the M6 at 232 miles. The M2 was constructed in 2 years between 1963 and 1965 and with one service station it is a simple unfussy road.
