It is a road that is never truly quiet and travelling on it late at night or early in the morning surprises users with the volume of other vehicles on it at the same time. &nbsp; When travelling at peak times it can resemble a car park and the frustrations that users experience on it are summed up in Chris Rea\u2019s 1989 classic \u201cThe Road to Hell\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M25 Map<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The M25 is 117 miles long.&nbsp; The notable junctions for interchange with other motorways are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Junction 2 &#8211; Darenth for the <a href=\"http:\/\/everyjobsite.co.uk\/guides\/m2-motorway-services\/\">M2 Motorway<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Junction 12 the Thorpe interchange for the <a href=\"http:\/\/everyjobsite.co.uk\/guides\/m3-motorway-overview\/\">M3 Motorway<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Junction 14 for the <a href=\"http:\/\/everyjobsite.co.uk\/guides\/m4-motorway-overview\/\">M4 Motorway<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Junction 21A for the <a href=\"http:\/\/everyjobsite.co.uk\/guides\/m1-motorway-overview\/\">M1 Motorway<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Off Motorway stops near the M25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When on the M25 there\u2019s a wide range of places you could stop as an alternative to Service stations and the fact that you are often turning into Greater London you are heading towards one of the worlds great cities meaning you are never short of options.&nbsp; However we\u2019ll focus on some options away from the 4 service stations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M25 Junction 26 Epping<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the junction you can either head towards Theydon Bois or Waltham Forest.&nbsp; Waltham Forest has a Tesco with Petrol station and the Waltham Abbey Gerdens are close by if you need to stretch your legs.&nbsp; If you head toward Theydon Bois on the here is a Shell Garage and a&nbsp; Miller and Carter Steakhouse \/ Shell Garage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M25 Junction 18 or 17 Chorleywood or Maple Cross<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chorleywood has a large common which is perfect to stop and stretch your legs.&nbsp; There is an Esso Petrol station within \u00bd mile of junction 18 and a range of Pubs.&nbsp; Chorleywood highstreet has a good selection of shops and cafes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M25 Junction 13 Egham<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the roundabout at Junction 13 there is an Esso garage (24hrs) and a Burger King (Closes 11pm). To stretch your legs head to the Runnymede Pleasure Ground where there is a cafe and a National Trust property <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/visit\/surrey\/runnymede-and-ankerwycke\">https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/visit\/surrey\/runnymede-and-ankerwycke<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M25 Junction 8 Reigate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the Roundabout at Junction 8 take the A217 towards Reigate.&nbsp;
