M1 Junction 43

Junction 43 of the M1 is found near Rothwell on the southern edge of Leeds, and serves as the motorway's link to the M621. The next junction northbound is Junction 44, 1 mile further on, while southbound traffic reaches Junction 42 after 1.9 miles. For a motorway stop, Leeds Skelton Lake services are the closest, roughly 2.4 miles along the M1.

Rothwell town centre sits 1.5 miles east of the junction, just off the M1. Within two miles of the junction our map lists 64 places to eat and drink, 6 pubs, 3 supermarkets, 2 EV charging points, 2 green spaces and 1 fuel station.

Junction 43 is where the M1 meets the M621, so it is not a great junction to leave the motorway. If you do need to stop, Weng Tim is 0.5 miles off.
