M4 Junction 1
Junction 1 of the M4 sits at Chiswick Roundabout, linking the motorway with the A4. Westbound, the first exit is Junction 2, 0.9 miles away; eastbound, the motorway begins where the A4 continues into London. The nearest motorway services are Heston, around 5.1 miles away.
The town centre itself is 0.6 miles east of the junction. For somewhere larger, Acton is 1.3 miles north. There are 348 places to eat and drink, 101 EV charging points, 49 pubs, 21 supermarkets, 8 fuel stations and 4 green spaces within two miles of the junction.
This is where the M4 begins, so it is rarely where a journey pauses. Heading west you have only just set out and are unlikely to be ready for a stop; coming the other way you are arriving into London, and will probably want to push on to wherever you are actually going. If you do need to stop, The Pilot is right at the junction.
