Where is Junction 28?
Junction 28 is on the western side of Newport, between Newport and Cardiff, where the M4 meets the A48 at Tredegar Park. Junctions 27 and 29 are each only 1.5 miles away.
Where to stop
Junction 28 isn't a great place to stop. If you're heading west, Cardiff Gate services is only a few miles further on, at Junction 30. If you're heading east, Magor services is on the other side of Newport, at Junction 23A. For an off-junction break, Junction 27 is the better option, with Tredegar House nearby.
