Cobham services is one of the UK’s newer service stations, situated between junction 9 and 10 of the M25 motorway
Approved in 2005 and opened in 2012 it was designed to address one of the longest stretches in UK motorways on the southwest corner of the M25 that did not have service station provision due to the 65 mile gap between Clacket Lane and South Mimms services on the M25
Operated by Extra it benefits from the blessing of a McDonalds but it also has the widest selection of restaurant choices that we have ever seen at a service station.
If travelling anticlockwise towards Gatwick you’ll just have survived the busiest part of the UK motorway network and welcome a chance for a stop. If you’re heading clockwise towards Heathrow and M1 you may want to power up before you face the M3 to M40 section.
Food Options at Cobham Services

In addition to a McDonalds, Cobham services has a colossal set of food outlets for you choose from. In the main court there are the classics of Greggs, KFC, Starbucks and M&S but also some quirky options that you don’t get at many other service stations. These include German Doner Kebab, El Mexicana and Chopstix. So if your family needs to provide 4 separate meal options Cobham is the stop for you
Cobham services also benefits from standalone Pizza Express and Nando’s restaurants that are separate to the main service station food concourse so you can stop for a proper meal.

Alternatives to Cobham Services
Cobham Services is situated between Junction 9 and Junction 10 of the M25 Motorway. Once past it you are approaching or recovering one of the busiest bits of road in the world so you want to be fully rested.
Our recommendation is to come off at Junction 8 M25. From the Roundabout at Junction 8 take the A217 towards Reigate. There is an Esso Garage on the edge of Reigate just over a mile away. For a longer stop there is a National Trust property at Reigate Hill with a 19th century fort – and 21st century cafe!
